Your Impact as VP of Business Development

As our VP of Business Development, you will drive strategic sales initiatives, cultivate high-value partnerships, and lead revenue growth efforts within the CPG and AI-powered retail solutions space.

  • Develop & Execute Sales Strategy – Identify, target, and secure high-value clients through tailored, solution-based selling.
  • Drive Revenue Growth – Expand new and existing accounts while ensuring profitability and long-term partnerships.
  • Champion AI & Retail Innovation – Position SPAR as the go-to partner for AI-driven merchandising, analytics, and execution services.
  • Build & Lead High-Impact Relationships – Engage with top executives, decision-makers, and key industry players.
  • Stay Ahead of Market Trends – Research industry shifts, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to refine sales strategies.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally – Work closely with product, marketing, and operations teams to develop winning solutions for clients.

 

What You Bring

  • 5+ years of executive sales & business development experience within CPG, grocery, or retail technology
  • Proven track record of closing high-value deals and building long-term client relationships.
  • Strong negotiation, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to drive business success.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging key stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively to generate new business opportunities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
  • Bachelor’s degree required (equivalent experience may be considered).
