Responsibilities:

 

  • Create individual sales strategy for targeted customer prospects while building solution-based service offerings for effective prospecting for both large and small revenue customers.
  • Continually communicate and sell the value of the company and the service offerings
  • Responsible for meeting company and personal sales objectives through revenue growth of new and existing clients while maintaining company margin goals
  • Sells solutions by developing relationships with prospects and recommending customer specific solutions.
  • Maintains relationships with clients and prospective clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Identifies solutions or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors.
  • Maintains internal and external professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies\

 

Qualifications:

  • Must possess excellent writing, interpersonal, and public-speaking abilities, with the capacity for cross-functional communication across departments.
  • Proven ability to lead, negotiate effectively, and solve complex problems while working with diverse personalities and teams.
  • Ability to work independently, actively seeking new business opportunities through prospecting and cold calling.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (equivalent experience may be considered).
  • At least 10+ years of experience in sales, with a focus on Consumer Packaged Goods and grocery sectors.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and general computer applications, including internet, email, and word processing.
